Special Announcement

Although the likelihood of contracting COVID-19 in our area is as yet low, many local community organizations are taking action to help prevent the spread of the virus. In the words of a WHO representative, "the chain of infection must be broken".

Given the vulnerable demographics of our membership and our desire to ensure we all remain healthy, your Management Committee has decided to suspend Club meetings and indoor group activities until such time as it becomes prudent to resume. Our Singers and friends have already postponed their Singalong and other clubs in the area are taking similar action.

We will keep you all informed as the situation evolves. In the meantime, please stay safe.

Thank you.

President Ken

Monthly meetings will be held at the Comox United Church from now until June, 250 Beach Street at the usual 2:00 pm start.

This is a temporary arrangement and hopefully we can move back into the Legion by July.

The April meeting has been cancelled.

The Driving adventure scheduled for April 16 has also been cancelled.

There were 62 members and 4 guests at March's meeting.

The Vancouver Ialand Compassionate Dog Society did a fantastic demontration on their purpose and training for PTSD sufferers. They even brought one of their dogs-in-training.

Guests accompanied by a member are always welcome.
